Its core members have years of deep expertise in China-EU legal services, are fully conversant with the EU legal framework and Hungarian local regulatory requirements, and focus on practices including Chinese outbound investment into Europe, cross-border commercial disputes, EU compliance governance and transnational dispute resolution, providing clients with multilingual, end-to-end, cross-jurisdictional integrated legal services.

Settlement is available in three currencies: euro, renminbi and US dollar. All fees comply with EU legal service norms and the regulatory rules governing the Hungarian legal profession.
I. Compliant Billing Models
In strict adherence to the Hungarian Lawyers’ Practice Regulations and EU cross-border legal service guidelines, and tailored to the cross-border service needs of Chinese-funded enterprises, five standardised billing methods are adopted with transparent pricing and no hidden charges:
A.Fixed lump-sum billing
Applicable to standardised legal matters such as company registration, qualification filing and document drafting. The fee is confirmed upon contract signing with no additional charges.
B.Hourly service billing
Applicable to EU cross-border projects, litigation and arbitration, and customised compliance consulting. Fees are calculated based on lawyers’ chargeable working hours, with detailed time sheets provided monthly and full traceability and verifiability throughout the engagement.
C.Tiered billing by subject matter value
For asset-related practices such as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, asset transactions and large-scale commercial claims, tiered rates apply based on the value of the subject matter, in line with industry convention for commercial legal services in the EU.
D.Contingency fee billing
Restricted to debt collection, commercial recovery and infringement enforcement cases. Fees are charged only upon a successful case outcome or actual fund recovery, with the charging ratio not exceeding 25% of the total recovered amount.
E.Annual general counsel retainer billing
Provides enterprises with year-round routine legal support for a fixed annual service fee, with a dedicated legal team and response within 48 hours, covering daily operational compliance and risk control for the enterprise.
II. Hourly Fee Schedule for Legal Practitioners
All practising lawyers at the GUOZUN Hungary Office hold valid practising certificates issued by the Hungarian Bar Association, are familiar with the application of laws across three jurisdictions – China, Hungary and the EU – and deliver services in Chinese, English and Hungarian. Senior partners hold practising qualifications in multiple EU jurisdictions, specialise in cross-border investment, financial compliance, international arbitration and other core fields, and are subject to tiered differential pricing.
The 2026 benchmark hourly fee range is €190 – €650 per hour, covering all personnel levels: junior lawyers, specialist lawyers, senior partners and headquarters cross-border experts. The final rate is comprehensively determined based on case complexity, professional alignment, service urgency and team configuration.
