Yueping Feng, Director of Guozun Cathay Associates, Invited to Visit Malaysian Ambassador Norman

Mr. Feng Yueping, Director of Guozun Law Firm, visited the Embassy of Malaysia in China at the invitation of

Mr. Norman from the Embassy. During his visit, he engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges

regarding corporate development under current circumstances, as well as how to further advance

cooperation between the two sides in the field of legal services.

Director Feng Yueping provided the Malaysian Ambassador to China with a detailed overview of Guozun

Law Firm’s developmental trajectory, practice areas, and international cooperation initiatives. He

emphasized that, as one of the leading firms in China’s legal services sector, Guozun Law Firm

consistently upholds a service philosophy centered on "client first" and "integrity-based practice,"

dedicating itself to providing clients with high-quality and efficient legal services.

Guozun Law Firm expresses its readiness to strengthen communication and collaboration with the

Malaysian Embassy to jointly promote bilateral economic, trade, and legal cooperation. The firm aims to

provide comprehensive legal support to enterprises in both nations—including legal consultation, on-site

inspections, business matchmaking, contract review, and dispute resolution—thereby facilitating their

growth and operations.

The friendly exchanges between China and Malaysia are deeply rooted in history and have spanned a long

and illustrious past. The legendary voyages of Zheng He—who embarked on seven expeditions to the

"Western Oceans" and made five stops in Malacca—are widely known throughout Malaysia and stand as a

cherished chapter in the history of China-Malaysia exchanges. Both nations belong to the vibrant tapestry

of Asian civilization; they are active participants in economic globalization, staunch defenders of

multilateralism, and contributors to shared development. Over the years, China and Malaysia have stood

together through thick and thin, advancing side by side; as a Malaysian proverb vividly describes, the bond

between the two nations is so strong that it is "impossible to sever, even with a knife."

The development of bilateral relations has consistently remained at the forefront among regional nations,

serving as a shining exemplar for others to follow. This year marks the 11th anniversary of the establishment

of the China-Malaysia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, as well as the grand celebration of the 50th

anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. With shared

philosophies, intertwined interests, and deep cultural affinity, China and Malaysia have reached a broad

consensus on building a China-Malaysia Community with a Shared Future. Guided by the strategic vision of

the leaders of both nations, cooperation across various fields—including trade, technology, and culture—

continues to deepen and yield fruitful results. In particular, cooperation under the "Belt and Road Initiative"

has advanced steadily, continuously unlocking development dividends; for 14 consecutive years, China has

maintained its position as Malaysia’s largest trading partner.

One of the primary driving forces behind the strengthening of relations between Malaysia and China

undoubtedly stems from the immense potential demonstrated by both sides in the realm of economic and

trade cooperation. As a key trading partner and a major source of investment for Malaysia, China plays a

pivotal role in driving the country's economic development. With China's continued rise and growing

economic strength, the robust demand within the Chinese market presents ever-expanding opportunities

for Malaysian exports, thereby opening up broader commercial horizons for Malaysian enterprises.

Concurrently, Malaysia actively welcomes Chinese investment—capital that not only injects fresh vitality

into the nation's economic growth but also plays a constructive role in areas such as job creation and the

improvement of public welfare. Through the concerted efforts of both sides, we can forge a new chapter of

mutually beneficial cooperation, injecting fresh momentum into the shared prosperity and development of

both nations.

Collaborating with the Embassy of Malaysia in the realm of legal services marks yet another successful

milestone in Guozun Law Firm’s ongoing efforts to deepen its international cooperation. As a leading law

firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services on a global scale, Guozun possesses extensive
