I. Compliant Fee Models (Armenian Professional Practice Standards)
In strict compliance with the fee regulations of the Armenian Chamber of Advocates and in consideration of the characteristics of cross-border client services, five standardised billing methods are established, which are fully traceable and auditable throughout the process:
A.Fixed Lump Sum Fee: Applicable to basic legal services with standardised processes and quantifiable workload. The full fee is locked upon contract signing with no subsequent add-on charges.
B.Hourly Rate Service: Applicable to complex specialised consultation, cross-border due diligence, and litigation or arbitration. Charges are calculated based on billable working hours, with detailed time statements issued monthly.
C.Proportional Fee Based on Subject Matter Value: Applicable to property disputes, equity transactions and debt recovery. Fees are charged on a tiered basis according to the value of the disputed subject matter, in line with local commercial practice.
D.Contingency Fee Arrangement: Restricted to compliant property recovery cases only. Fees are charged after the funds are received, with the maximum ratio not exceeding 25% of the actual amount received.
E.Annual Retainer Service: All-inclusive annual compliance service for enterprises, charged at a fixed annual fee. A dedicated bilingual team responds within 48 hours, covering full risk prevention and control for daily operations.
II. Tiered Hourly Rate Schedule
All lawyers in the team hold valid practising licences in Armenia, and partners possess cross-border practising qualifications in the European Union and/or Russia. Fees are tiered according to professional seniority. The 2026 baseline hourly rates for lawyers at GUOZUN CATHAY ASSOCIATES Armenia Office are as follows:
Hourly rate range: AMD 11,000 – AMD 82,000 per hour
The rate covers four service tiers: junior lawyers, senior lawyers, local managing partners, and cross-border experts from the Beijing headquarters.
The final rate will be comprehensively determined based on case complexity and area of specialisation.

C.Time requirement: Urgent case filing, time-limited completion and holiday overtime work incur additional expedited service fees based on standard rates.
D.Service model: Compared with one-off services, annual retainer packages reduce overall costs by 15% to 25%.
E.Team configuration: Pricing is adjusted as required for multilingual collaboration, headquarters expert support and cross-domain joint case handling.
F.Enforcement difficulty: Fees fluctuate accordingly for cases involving cross-border enforcement, off-site evidence collection and complex or novel legal issues.
V. Third-party Reimbursable Expenses
The following expenses are not included in legal service fees. They are reimbursed at actual cost in accordance with official Armenian standards and supporting receipts; the law firm charges no agency commission for these items:
A.Administrative official fees: Company registration fees, court fees, arbitration fees, official intellectual property fees, visa fees and licence application fees.
